At a public meeting last Monday, the Miami Springs City Council lifted the building moratorium that affected construction of new single-family homes and additions to existing single-family residences.
While these constructions, called the McMansions, are yet to be defined, the moratorium was put up as a ''semi-emergency'' measure to give the City Council time to come up with its definition of a McMansion.
